Relaxing and peaceful stay
Lovely and relaxing home stay. We thank Host family for opening up their home for us. It was a very peaceful stay with wonderful wholesome food. Must try is the tomato curry with seafood as a side, chicken ghee roast and wonderful pulses gravies. The homestay is beautiful in every aspect. They have lovely recommendations as well for any trips you plan around the area. We hope to visit again.

Our first trip and stay and Murudeshwar
I stayed for one night at the Mavalli Beach Heritage Home with my family. Its a great place to stay with the kids. Mr. & Mrs. Kaipilli are wonderful hosts. The food and service was also really good. The property is very well maintained. Inside and outside. It was a proper holiday location – hammocks outside, cozy rooms and furniture. Carrom boards. Really loved it.
The access is a bit tricky.
The stretch of beach to the right of the property was relatively cleaner than the rest of the place and we had that whole place to ourselves the afternoon we spent in the water.

Room Tip: Good views, Quiet rooms, Family stay

Nice quaint little homestay, but…
I personally feel that Murudeshwar isn’t really worth visiting (over crowded temple, and an unclean beach, and Netrani island being overrated).

If you absolutely must visit this place, then this homestay could be a nice choice. Hospitable folks, nice rooms, great food, and overall an Ok place to stay.

3 stars because:
* Access to the resort is a bit dodgy (rough road and going through stinking roads and unclean areas)
* I had a bit of a delay in paying advance for the room and was contacted multiple times, almost being pestered for it though i was traveling with bad network connectivity

A splendid stay
I am writing this review on behalf of my family who stayed at this location for 2 nights. Kudos to Mr and Mrs kaipilly for turning this getaway into the most memorable stay. The food, the ambience is absolutely fantastic. And the home stay is just what my family needed in stead of a formal hotel booking. My parents were absolutely thrilled with the personal attention they received from the family and spent a great amount of time chatting with them. The beach is ideal for morning and evening walks and is situated very close to the homestay.
My son enjoyed himself with the junior kaipilly s and had some great fun. There was enough to keep him busy in the form of indoors well as outdoor games.
All in all, highly recommended.
Book this homestay for a homely atmosphere with professional touch instead of spending your days loitering in the other hotels in the vicinity.
PS book the king’s suite for a majestic experience.

Excellent rooms, food, location and hosts
We were 2 couples who checked in for 3 days of stay, and were totally in awe of the homestay and the people who run it. The big rooms are excellently furnished, and each came with private balconies. They have places all round the property…More

HERITAGE WITH MODERN AMENITIES
We visited this property on 24th March,2017.After googling a lot for a suitable accommodation in Murdeswar I zeroed on this property. This is basically a home stay with a difference.Drive north for a kilometer along the beach road from the Murdeswar temple, you would reach the property. The road itself is the only negative to this otherwise wonderful property as this road is very shanty and shabby. But I was told that soon this road would be beautified by the local administration. We had booked the queen room but to our sweet surprise the landlady gave us the King suite. The king suite has full fledged balcony with wonderful beach and see view.In fact all four rooms have some sea view. The mango trees in front need a little pruning to make the sea view more clear.there are lot of greenery around. The king room has duplex set up with a bed for the child in the upper floor. The landlord is passion and profession is antique and curio business.he has wonderfully combined ethnic and traditional south Indian wooden furniture, door frames, shelves with modern amenities. We were just mesmerized by the over all ambiance. The playing of South Indian classical music in the lobby and dining really rejuvenated our tired soul and body. The beach is hardly two mins walk and you get an excellent photographic angle to the Murdeswar Temple,Shiva idol and the sea.The food option is a little bit restricted but whatever they serve is really tasty and hygienic. I must admit that the price they charge for food is very very reasonable. The breakfast comes as complimentary. The last but not the least is the is the cleanliness and hygiene,USP of the property is the carefulness, earnestness and sincerity of the landlady and her husband and of everybody there. They got us a very good SUV with a good driver for the next day’s sightseeing.i strongly recommend this to everybody going to Murdeswar.

Room Tip: all rooms are good, but the king is king.

Most pleasant heritage home stay you can find…
Without any doubt, this beautiful Heritage Home Stay, fully decorated with antique interior is THE place to book your stay in Murdeshwar.
Warm professional welcome by the lovely owners, very clean and spacious rooms, an excellent view from your very large veranda on the sea, impeccable breakfast included, peaceful location that will guarantee a good nights sleep and a tasty Goan cuisine for dinner.
An exceptional place where the proprietors look after their guests from A to Z to guarantee your stay at his best, and all their efforts comes firstly from their hearts and souls which is pretty rare these days…
I’d like to thank you all again, and I’ll be back next season for another stay in your Home, because it feels being at home…
Best Regards
Marc

My trip to Murdeshwar and stay at Mavalli Beach heritage home.
Mavalli beach home is clearly one of the best homestays i have ever stayed at and the proper ty is so beautiful and serene, it relaxes you the minute you step in. The rooms are decorated meticulously and the artistic taste of the couple is beauty to the sore eyes to those of us from cities. I enjoyed every bit of my stay there as it was more like home away from home and the owners took such good care of me as i was a single lady travelling alone. They even accompanied me to the temple and took me shopping to the local market. I was really touched by their graciousness. The food was also personalized and i had my fill of fish and chicken throughout my stay…this is one place that i will definitely recommend to all and i will most definitely visit again..because its more to do with the way they welcome you and make you feel home once you reach there…thank you so much for everything..

Room Tip: every room is exquisite and they have personal balconys overseeing the beautiful sea.
